Our Wave Climate platform, providing site-specific and detailed insights into offshore wind and wave conditions anywhere on the world’s oceans and seas, has been completely rebuilt with faster performance and enhanced functionalities.
The result is a more powerful, flexible, and intuitive platform that helps you explore offshore conditions with greater speed and confidence. The current environment will be discontinued later this year, making this the moment to transition to the new Wave Climate experience.
What’s new and improved
The upgraded platform introduces a range of enhancements designed to improve both speed and usability. With significantly faster response times and updated hindcast data delivered through monthly updates, you always have access to the latest insights.
You can now easily save your favorite locations and return to them in future sessions, while the ability to query multiple locations simultaneously allows for faster comparisons and more efficient analysis. In addition, the platform provides access to detailed climatological statistics, enabling you to assess workability or download full datasets for deeper investigation.

Why this matters
Whether planning offshore operations, evaluating workability windows, or exploring site data, the improved Wave Climate platform is faster, smarter, and more reliable. Spend less time navigating and more time making informed decisions.
What’s next
This release marks the first phase of the new Wave Climate platform. We are continuously expanding its capabilities, with new features and improvements already in development.
Extended functionalities, including nearshore data, will be added in upcoming releases. Our focus is to further enhance the platform step by step, making it even more powerful and complete over time.
